The Centre for Research, Training, and Publication (CRTP), at Hekima University College, in collaboration with the Hekima Institute of Peace Studies and International Relations (HIPSIR), Peace Actors Forum and REINVENT invites you to a webinar round table discussion on the theme “A Critical Political Economy Analysis of Kenya: The BBI Report Recommendations and Beyond”. This virtual meeting is 3rd virtual meeting of a series of thematic sessions that have focused on the BBI report. The aim of these sessions is to critically analyze the report with the objective of seeing how the recommendations portend for sustainable peace in Kenya at various levels.
The speakers for the session include Dr. Prisca Kamungi, National Peace and Development Officer, UNDP-DPP, Prof. Karuti Kanyinga, Research Professor, IDS/the University of Nairobi, John Githongo, CEO Inuka Kenya Trust. The session will be moderated by Njeri Karuru, Program and Strategic Management Consultant, and Hosted by Rev. Dr. Elias Opongo, SJ Centre for Research, Training, and Publication (CRTP). The Webinar will take place on 20th November 2020 between 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (Nairobi time- GMT +3).
