2018 Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize Nomination: Established in 1996, the Hiton Humanitarian Prize is given to an organization, anywhere in the world, judged to have made extraordinary contributions toward alleviating human suffering. The Prize is not only intended to recognize and advance the efforts of the recipient organization, but also to call attention to the worldwide need for humanitarian aid and to encourage others to seek opportunities to lend their support. Nominations for the 2018 Hilton Humanitarian Prize will be accepted until October 18, 2017. Details can be found here.

Shuttleworth Foundation Fellowship: The Shuttleworth Foundation offers fellowships to individuals to implement their innovative idea for social change. The Foundation is most interested in exceptional ideas at the intersection between technology, knowledge and learning, with openness being the key requirement. The Foundation funds people from all over the world regardless of gender, age, nationality or experience and invites individuals with a fresh approach to solving a social challenge, using openness, to apply to the Fellowship Program. Applications for the March 2018 fellowship intake will close on 23 October 2017. More details can be found here.

Obama Foundation Fellowship: The Obama Foundation Fellowship program seeks to support outstanding civic innovators from around the world in order to amplify the impact of their work and to inspire a wave of civic innovation. Their two-year, non-residential Fellowship will offer hands-on training, resources, and leadership development. Fellows will also participate in four multi-day gatherings where they will collaborate with each other, connect with potential partners, and collectively push their work forward. Throughout the program, each Fellow will pursue a personalized plan to leverage Fellowship resources to take their work to the next level. Applications to be an Obama Fellow will close on 6th October 2017.
